In our view, your ideal Recovery Audit partner doesn’t just recover monies owing to your organisation. If they truly have your best interests at heart, they should also help you stop profit leakage occurring in the first place.
Here at Aveiroe, we’re committed to supporting our clients – through the highest quality analysis, feedback, recovery-type deep dives and process improvement recommendations. We deliver these through our knowledge management suite, known as Faculty Services.
Unlike some of our competitors, we don’t charge our clients for our advice, opinions, experience, or any of our efforts to help you improve your business. We do it as part of the service.
Here are five ways in which we proactively turn the insights from our work into value for your organisation.
- A tailored approach. This starts with a desire to really understand your business and the processes you operate, and a willingness to adapt our services to meet the specific requirements of your company.
From the outset, we work with you to identify where your team fits in to our Learnings & Insights Spectrum, in other words your appetite and preferences for structuring feedback and advice, collaborative learning & process improvement, and building internal capability.
This will inform the agenda, frequency and attendees of meetings, the reporting scope, and the requirements and formats for analyses and portal access.
We would expect our Learnings & Insight Programme to evolve over time within any client environment and according to stakeholder needs – this is not a copy and paste model.
- Investing where it matters. As a client-centric company, Aveiroe has always been prepared to make those investments in the relationship necessary to ensure your objectives are met.
This includes both monetary and time commitments to identify and implement the correct mix of personnel and engagement to achieve success on your terms.
Every member of our team shares information and makes recommendations to clients through our Learnings & Insights Programmes, geared towards assisting stakeholders to “Get it Right First Time”. This has resulted in (different) innovations at every one of the hundreds of organisations we have served and a pool of experience we can draw on for your benefit.
- Detailed reporting with clear recommendations. Accurate and detailed Recovery Type and Root Cause Classifications is the key to facilitating meaningful Recovery reporting. This in turn helps prevent ongoing profit leakage and leads to successful process improvement initiatives.
Our reporting and delivery mechanisms are always tailored to stakeholder requirements. They can span high-level dashboards and KPIs, work-in-progress reporting and like-for-like trend analysis, through to detailed category and/or supplier analyses.
We’re confident that the insights we share through our reporting will help you to significantly improve your financial controls and compliance.
- Embedding learnings and capabilities into the business. Learnings & Insights sessions are at the heart of our Faculty Programmes, and they are designed to assist the business in improving controls and reducing ongoing omissions and errors.
Sessions are always tailored arounds the specific needs of stakeholders and can take many forms, for example:
a) Deep Dive with a focus on a specific process (e.g. complex supply chain arrangements connected to Marketing initiatives)
b) Departmental/divisional training sessions
c) Cross-functional workshops to raise awareness of Recovery Audit Programmes or supplier issues.
The key focus of the sessions is to share knowledge and best practice so that the root causes of claims is understood, and preventative measures can be implemented to reduce the risk of future errors and so combat profit leakage.
- Providing continuous feedback. We’ve written about the importance of really understanding your business and investing time in the relationship. Through that close involvement with our clients, we’re better able to adopt a continuous improvement approach and so contribute to profits and cash flow both in the short term and long term.
By sharing feedback and insights on a timely basis, using channels such as routine reporting, stakeholder meetings and regular learning sessions, we provide opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, systems, and internal controls.
As always, our ethos is to help you improve. To learn more about the benefits of our Faculty Services, please get in touch and let us know how we can help. You can find our contact details here.
